#319 - Sam Docherty - The AFL's Most Resilient Leader & Inside "What It Takes"

Sam Docherty is a former Carlton Captain, All Australian, Best and Fairest winner and media personality. 

He is part of the DDF network with his podcast, "In the Lab" and part of 3AW's football broadcast team. He has just released his book "What it Takes". 

It was great to have Doc join us in the studio for an unreal reflection of his career. 

Sam is about to share with you some the biggest ups and downs of his footy and personal life. 

He opens up about his past troubles with gambling, overcoming it, his rock bottom moment and how prevalent it is within the AFL system. 

We hear about his battles with cancer and why he was stripped of the leadership group during his second bout. Plus, the famous return game (and goal) and the heartwarming support of his teammates when they decided to shave their heads!
