Abbey Holmes is a broadcaster, TV & Radio Personality, Former AFLW player & contestant on SAS Australia & Survivor...and let's face it, Friday Night Footy wouldn't be the same without Abbey!
What a thrill it was for us to have Abbey join us in the studio to share her inspirational story, rise in the media and lift the lid on behind the scenes of her various roles.
She shared her unorthodox entry into the broadcasting landscape which involved an incredible amount of persistence and extreme drive to continually pay her own way to fly half way across the country just to get a foot in the door.
We hear about the early years which helped her climb the ladder with a little help from her real estate days and of course the media storm that followed her kicking 100 goals in a season and a subsequent entry into the famous legends game!
Outside of her incredible rise, we get a glimpse behind the channel 7 cameras for her game day preparation, relationships with team members and of course what happens when things don't go to plan on live television. And who could forget when the lights went out at the Gabba!
Abbey also shares her thoughts on broadcasting and how building real relationships with players helps them feel comfortable to show more personality and the overall direction we're going. Plus, her thoughts on the ridiculous media storm the followed the infamous kiss on the cheek with Lachie Neale.

Only a few weeks ago we announced that we were part of a football team...well one of us was let go. Shocking news to us...yet in true Dos & D fashion we find the lighter side as we found the weirdest, funniest and most unbelievable ways people lost their job.
We all have a bit of awkwardness about us, but the ones that interest us are things that are awkward that really shouldn't be. We asked the listeners and viewers to provide their answers and they didn't disappoint with some absolute rippers. From singing Happy Birthday, walking in the same direction after saying goodbye or even pretending to not be out breath, you'll love this list.

Bree Masters is a sprinter who is a Commonwealth Games Bronze Medalist, Oceania Champion and current record holder.
We were super lucky to sit down with Bree on the Gold Coast in between her hectic travel schedule which includes just coming back from Miami & the Bahamas before jetting off to Japan.
Bree opened up about the lifestyle of constant travel and the sometimes not so glamorous side of it.
From the quick in and outs of countries, to luggage being lost and the "to the minute" schedule, certainly more goes into it than simply travelling the world.
We hear Bree's story and the multiple sport background that has contributed to her being the hybrid athlete she is today.
